Patanjali Foods Ltd spurts 0.57%, rises for fifth straight session

Patanjali Foods Ltd gained for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 577.75, up 0.57% on the day as on 12:44 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.36% on the day, quoting at 26083.25. The Sensex is at 84758.67, down 0.36%. Patanjali Foods Ltd has gained around 5.46% in last one month.

Meanwhile, Nifty FMCG index of which Patanjali Foods Ltd is a constituent, has gained around 2.2% in last one month and is currently quoting at 53561.95, down 0.41% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 6.34 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 28.24 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark January futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 578.85, up 0.56% on the day. Patanjali Foods Ltd is down 6.59% in last one year as compared to a 10.11% jump in NIFTY and a 6.36% jump in the Nifty FMCG index.

The PE of the stock is 43.87 based on TTM earnings ending September 25.
